I had a good day at work.
This was a banner day. Paperwork and errands in the morning and
rehearsals all afternoon, with an audition for an episodic in the
evening. Everything just clicked and I don't know why. Each rehearsal was work but it was fun. I walked 9 miles. I didn't eat or drink any garbage. I wrote a
new song. I called my mother. Somewhere in there, I stopped at Grounded for a cup of tea. And then I came home to this.
And as if all of that weren't enough, my beautiful new hat that I'll wear to the Jazz Age Lawn Party is done, according to my wonderfully brilliant milliner in Phoenix, Arizona. Hopefully, I'll get it in a week.
I'm going to bed with a smile on my face.

prince oberyn and the mountain -- chillaxing!
Here's a snapshot of Pedro Pescal (Prince Oberyn Martell) and Hafþór Júlíus Björnsson (Ser Gregor Clegane), otherwise known as The Mountain Who Rides. That tag sticks with good reason. He's 6'9"! I suppose I just needed to know that he was really that big.
And yeah. That last episode was nuckin' futz.

Delete Facebook?
Gee, I'd love to delete Facebook. (Really.) This SuperGeek has more than a few excellent points. Unfortunately, everybody's in there. It's too easy to reach out to the world. And as an unsigned musician, I can't afford to make it difficult for anyone to find me.
Still and all, I can't deny the truth in what he's saying and how much it creeps me out.

NaBloPoMo -- June, 2014
Writing every day never fails to shake ideas loose and inspire things to bloom in other directions. Morning pages are one thing but this is something else. Let's see if I can keep this up every day for a month, shall we?
And yes, something in me will pick up where I left off with Black Jesus on Holy Week. I promise.
